We visited Raffles Udaipur this year and had an amazing time staying in the rooms which are complete with modern comforts, private plunge pools, gardens as well as balconies. The decor follows the East-West aesthetic with murals, handcrafted wooden chests, and artwork.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we were excited to see the expansive site resembling a magnificent mansion with beautifully manicured ornamental gardens, panoramic views of the surrounding hills, a serene lake and a 400-year-old temple perched atop Aravali.
We took a scenic 20-minute drive from the airport in Raffles Lakeshore, an arrival hall where Raffles Butler took us to a private boat. We enjoyed the soothing boat ride, watched migratory birds. It took us into the world of the famous Raffles on the mainland.
We then had a long, relaxing and romantic walk around the Hotel, an experience like stargazing or a full moon ceremony, the beautifully manicured gardens seemed like a heaven for us seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.

The Hotel itself consists of 101 luxurious rooms, suites and signature suites, elegantly blending Western cultural elements with Rajasthan’s royal heritage and Mughal architecture.
We also travelled to the countryside for having Traditional English Afternoon Tea and Udaipur Inspiring local snacks at the spectacular “The Writers Bar”. It is a great place for having an intimate conversation or reading books. We enjoyed a menu of bespoke traditional and classic cocktails, champagne and caviar.
We planned our first stay at Raffles Udaipur with an exclusive Royal Escape which offered afternoon tea, morning yoga with home masters and an hour of sunset cocktail. Don’t miss the legendary Udaipur Sling . We were encouraged to inhale the enchanting views of Lake Udai Sagar and discover lush green landscapes with naturalists during our stay. We enjoyed a gastronomic experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
