During its zenith in the 14th to 16th centuries, the Vijayanagara Empire was not only the wealthiest but also one of the most powerful kingdoms of its time. The kingdom’s riches were further accentuated by its control over lucrative trade routes, establishing Hampi as a bustling center of commerce and culture.

Day 1: Arrival and Immersion
Upon arrival at Jindal Vidyanager Airport, our journey with KROOZZ began.This was our 4th time booking with them and the experience just keeps getting better with their added benefits , loyalty program and customer service. A short hour’s drive led us to the serene haven of Evolve Back Resort Hampi. Welcomed with warmth, we indulged in a sumptuous lunch before checking into our Jal Mahal room, boasting a private pool and jacuzzi. After a hearty breakfast, we delved into exploring the architectural marvels of the resort, inspired by the Vijayanagara kingdom. Lunch featured a delightful South Indian thali, fueling us for an afternoon of discovery. Guided by an expert, we wandered through the ruins of Queen’s Bath, Elephant Stables, Royal Palace, Lotus Mahal, and Zanana Enclosure, each site resonating with tales of a bygone era. The day culminated with a special dinner, leaving us awestruck by the day’s revelations.
Day 3: Cultural Immersion
Morning greeted us with a leisurely breakfast, followed by a visit to the resort’s library, housing a treasure trove of Hampi’s history. A flavorsome local lunch preceded an afternoon dip in the pool. Our exploration continued at the iconic Shree Vijaya Vitthalla Temple, home to the famed stone chariot immortalized on the new 50 Rupee Note. A serene sunset conacle boat ride on the Tungabhadra River was complemented by a picturesque high tea, followed by an engaging storytelling session at the resort. Dinner at Bahmani, the specialty restaurant, offered a fitting finale to our cultural odyssey.
Day 4: Departure
