The city’s history is deeply intertwined with the fashion industry, and it’s evident in the Outlet City Mall. In 1970, Hugo Boss transformed into an international brand and became a household name. Two years later, in 1972, they started selling their surplus stock at a discounted price in Metzingen, which turned out to be a massive success. In 1997, other brands joined and began offering their surplus stock at discounted prices. Thats how Outletcity Metzingen was born.

The city’s Outlet City Mall is a unique shopping destination that’s home to over 150+ high-end brands, including Escada, Gucci ,Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Nike, Furla,Hackett ,Tory Burch and many more. 

As I walked through the Outlet City Mall in Metzingen, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of stores and brands available. The mall’s architecture is stunning, with elegant and modern buildings that complement the surrounding landscape. Outletcity Metzingen is spread across 40000 square metres, out of which 5000 square metres is only Hugo Boss store.Stores are spacious and beautifully designed, with an extensive range of products on display. 

Walking through the Outlet City Mall, I felt like I was in a shopper’s paradise. The stores offered an impressive collection of luxury clothing, footwear, and accessories. The Escada store had a sophisticated and elegant interior, adding to the overall shopping experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. 

The Outlet City Mall is not just a shopping destination; it’s also a cultural hub. There are several museums and galleries in the city, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Metzingen. The city’s history is reflected in the buildings and architecture, which adds to the charm of the place.

The Outlet City Metzingen offers varied services like 3,500 parking spaces across 8 car parks, 50 e-charging stations, Outletcity Mobile Application, Tax Free Shopping and Refund, Free WiFi, Kids Camp, Outletcity Shuttle, Personal Shopping & Fashion Concierge.

In conclusion, my visit to the Outlet City Mall in Metzingen was an experience of a lifetime. The mall is a unique shopping destination with over 150+ high-end brands, offering luxury fashion at affordable prices. The city’s history is deeply intertwined with the fashion industry, and it’s evident in the Outlet City. The mall’s stunning architecture, extensive range of products, and knowledgeable staff make it a shopper’s paradise. Hotels to stay near Outlet City Metzingen:- I stayed at Hotel Schwanen which was 80 metres away from the Outlet City and was quite comfortable. They are even coming up with a Moxy Hotel inside the Outlet City which would be open to all by 2024.
